What is the best luxury transportation option in Medellín?

For most visitors it is a private SUV with a vetted bilingual chauffeur booked for the day rather than per ride. Day rates start around $220 with vehicle, fuel and driver included, which is usually less than paying for six or seven separate rides and far more reliable. Ride apps work for short daytime hops, but they cannot hold a car for you, wait during a dinner, or handle a late airport run.

Is it safe to use taxis in Medellín?

Street taxis are generally functional but they are the least controlled option. Fares are negotiated, the vehicle is unknown, and it is the scenario where visitors most often get overcharged or worse. Use a booked car or a ride app instead, and never accept a ride from someone who approaches you on the street or in an airport terminal.

Do your drivers speak English?

Yes. Every chauffeur we assign to visiting clients speaks working English, and several are fully bilingual. If you need a driver who can also translate in meetings or at a clinic, tell us when you book and we will assign accordingly.

How far in advance should I book luxury transportation in Medellín?
