Overview

Hacienda Nápoles today is a theme park and animal reserve run by the state: safari enclosures, a water park, an African-themed hotel and a museum that frames the property's history rather than celebrating it.

It is a long drive and a full day, and it is genuinely one of the better family days out of Medellín. We handle transport, entries and food so the day is not spent queuing.

No. The park is state-run and the history is presented from the victims' side. We do not run glorification stops.

Is it worth the drive with kids?

Yes, it is one of the best family days in Antioquia. Without kids, other trips are better.
